About Avalix
A platform built by operators, for operators.
Avalix exists to give established assurance businesses in Latin America a path to scale that does not require them to give up what makes them trusted.
Why Avalix was formed
The businesses already exist
Across Latin America, thousands of laboratories, inspection houses and certification bodies deliver technically excellent work. Many are led by the professionals who founded them, hold hard-won accreditations, and enjoy deep trust with their clients.
What they are missing
What most of them lack is not capability. It is access to growth capital, commercial infrastructure and a route to serve clients beyond their own city, sector or country — and, increasingly, a credible answer to the question of succession.
Why we exist
Avalix was formed to close that gap: to bring long-term capital and professional systems to businesses whose value lies in their independence, their accreditations and their people.
Six principles
- 01
Lean and focused
A small, senior team running a low-overhead platform that stays close to every business.
- 02
Digital-native
Each company built data-first, replacing manual, paper-based workflows from day one.
- 03
Growth-obsessed
Value driven by commercial expansion, cross-selling and accreditation scope, not financial engineering.
- 04
Hands-on
We operate inside every business, with decisions made in days, not quarters.
- 05
Entrepreneurial at the core
Majority ownership, but founders stay engaged and the entrepreneurial drive is preserved.
- 06
Key talent
We attract, hire and retain the region's best TIC leaders, backed by our own talent engine.
More than 30 years of TIC in Latin America
Our team brings more than three decades of TIC experience in Latin America. We have worked inside multinational testing, inspection and certification companies, led M&A and business development, driven organic growth and run operations across every major market in the region.
We have built technical expertise, operational excellence and digital transformation programs in laboratories and inspection businesses. We have also made mistakes along the way, which means we understand what can go wrong in an acquisition, an integration and a growth plan — and we know what to watch for.
